Carli has moved! She is now our Chilliwack doula!

Birth culture is Carli Spielman’s specialty. From the moment Carli found out she was pregnant with her daughter, she became a walking encyclopedia of everything pregnancy, birth and babies. Carli’s experience with her own pregnancy and birth ignited the passion she carries today to empower women in their own birth experiences. A passionate advocate and great believer in gentle birth, she is a true believer in all that a woman can do.

After her daughter’s first birthday, Carli decided it was time she enroll in the Douglas College Doula Program and put her knowledge and passion to good use. She received certification in both the Birth Doula Course and the Postpartum Doula Course, gaining great insight into the careful care of the birthing mother and the sacred first weeks – the birth of the family.

Carli has had the great pleasure of working with a variety of different families from many different cultures. She gains from each experience not only new understanding but also new flame to keep the fire burning in her heart.

Carli is a dedicated soul with a lot of heart. She brings understanding, focus, and love into all aspects of her work.

Carli is a Birth and Postpartum Doula trained with DONA. She has also been busy doula with the South Community Birth Program in Vancouver. Carli is a member of DONA and the Doula Services Association of BC, and is currently working towards her Lamaze Childbirth Educators Certificate at Douglas College.

And Carli is most definitely the happy mother of a lovely little girl, Frankie.
